Located in the centre of Chew Magna the Bear and Swan is the perfect place to revive after exploring this picturesque village in the heart of the Chew Valley.
Owned by the Pushman family for nearly ten years The Bear is regarded as one of the South Wests premier gourmet pubs.
A free house, The Bear and Swan is open all week apart from Sunday evenings and is an ideal base from which to visit Chew Valley Lake, around which there are delightful walks.
Bath is only 20 minutes drive and Bristol just 15 minutes by car.
The pubdates back to the early 18th century, with a frontage added in Victorian times. The scrubbed wooden floorboards and eclectic mix of reclaimed tables chairs and artefacts all add to the charm of The Bear and Swan.
The Bear and Swan offers a superb restaurant, great bar and tasteful accommodation in a warm and cosy atmosphere.
